Who - Founders
The Leadership Team
Ross Hyland, Founder
Ross Hyland is the Founder and visionary of GrowPay. With farming qualifications from Lincoln and Harvard University, Ross also has a wealth of farming experience in owning and running farms in the Bay of Plenty.
His vision and drive for founding GrowPay is to provide a secure cloud-based digital platform, which can deliver a range of benefits at a fraction of the cost that farmers are currently charged. When input costs and compliance fees are hitting farmers hard, GrowPay is the one tool that, as more and more farmers come on board, will enable farmers to drive these costs down via the power of GrowPay's digital platform.

Chris Jones, Director
Chris Jones, the Chairman and CEO of Youtap Limited, brings a wealth of experience to the company, with a focus on providing global, contactless mobile payment and financial services software. He is the instrumental force behind the establishment of Youtap Indonesia, which is currently the country's most prominent eMoney processor. Jones has demonstrated a consistent record of success in the foundation and management of software companies within the financial and telecommunications sectors.

Sue Lindsay, Board Advisor
Sue Lindsay is an acknowledged New Zealand business leader whose compelling blend of strategic innovation & entrepreneurial courage has reshaped organisational strategy and ignited transformative growth. A Southlander of the Year recipient, New Zealand Young Executive of the Year, and, notably, recipient of the prestigious World Young Business Achiever award. When CEO of Combined Rural Traders in Southland, she transformed a traditional rural service cooperative into a vibrant, customer-centric market leader. Sue’s governance expertise spans roles on boards including Genesis (SOE), ATS, Ruralco, The Dairy Women’s Network, VetPlus, publisher GlobalHQ, and strategic advisory roles including the independent panel that undertook the governance review of Fonterra’s Shareholders Council. A passionate educator, she spent eight years on the independent faculty of thought leaders for the Bank of New Zealand.
